Opening of photo exhibition “Good and bad land 2017”
Ceremonial opening of the exhibition of art photographs created during the Photo Safari “Good and bad land 2017” event will be held at Bor City Library‘s hall, on August 24th , 2017 at 19.00 hrs.

Opening event of “MALINIK 2017′” will be concerto “Modern presentation of traditional Vlach’s music” held on August 24th, 20.00h at Bor City Libtary’s Hall. Concerto will be performed by our eminent artists, Mr. Bojan Cukic and Mr. Dragoljub Firulovic-Firul
MALINIK 2017
Traditional International Folklore Festival “MALINIK 2017” will be held on August 24-27th 2017 in Bor, Petrovac na Mlavi and Metovnica and Brestovac villages. Folklore ensembles from Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Romania and Serbia will present their tradition. Our special guests will be ensembles of Bunjevac and Slovenian minorities in Serbia. Opening event of the Festival will be concerto held on August 24th at City Library Hall in Bor, then we are moving to Metovnica village on August 25th. Third day’s event will be held at Brestovac village on August 26th and the closing ceremony at Petrovac na Mlavi on August 27th.

Photo safari “Good and bad land 2017”
As a part of a CSConnect project, NGO Village and Photo Club “Balkan” will be, on May 26-28th 2017, organizing second International Photo Safari “Good and bad land 2017”. We are expecting more then twenty eminent photographers to participate and document natural attractions but also and destruction to the nature caused by human’s actions. Shoot outs will be organized at the most attractive locations in our area: Lazar’s Cave, Borska reka (Bor’s river, most poluted river in Europe), old tailing pond near Ostrelj village (“Red lake”), old surface mine at Bor and “bacija” near Dubasnica. We are also planning visit to, if permissions granted, Bor copper mine pit and Krivelj’s surface mine. Public discussion forum
On March 21st 2017 at 19.00 hrs at Brestovac school’s hall, NGO Village will be organizing, in cooperation with partners from CSonnect project and Brestovac municipality, an event in a form of public discussion on the “Proposal of the plan for general regulation of touristic area Bor’s Lake- Brestovac’s Spa and it’s influence to Brestovac’s area“.
Everybody interested in this subject is welcomed. Summary of the discussions and proposals will be submitted to Bor Municipality in order to, eventually, amend and improve existing version of Plan’s proposal.
Village’s delegation attended Bulgarian National Day’s celebration at Inovo village and Vidin (Bulgaria)
At the invitation of our partner organization from Vidin, Association of Vlachs in Bulgaria, Village’s delegation attended Bulgarian National Day’s celebration at Inovo village and Vidin. After the ceremonies, our delegation and partners met with Vidin and Calafat’s (Romania) municipal representatives to discuss future cooperation.
